TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. Clean the sensor area with a damp cloth, then dry.
  2. Make sure nothing is obstructing the sensor underneath the pump.
  3. Try relocating the pump to avoid interference from bright lighting.

Rechargeable batteries are not recommended, as they are not alkaline batteries. Most rechargeable batteries put out less than 1.5V per cell even when they are fully charged. Some rechargeable batteries do not have enough capacity to turn the pump resulting in low dispensing volume and shorter battery life. A low-battery warning light may appear prematurely.

  1. Replace with fresh alkaline batteries, ensure proper orientation, and try again.
  2. If there’s rust on the battery cover or terminals, gently scrape it away using a flathead screwdriver or steel wool. Check and clean batteries as well. If rust cannot be removed, order a new battery cover.
  1. Check battery level or insert fresh batteries and try again.
  2. Check orientation of batteries, making sure they are lined up correctly and try again.
  3. Using a flat head screwdriver or steel wool, gently scrape away rust. If rust cannot be removed, order new battery cover.

Sensor may be obstructed, too close to an object or affected by light.

  1. Clean sensor window area with damp cloth. Wipe area immediately with a clean, dry cloth and try again. Please also check the area underneath the soap pump as a ledge, sponge, or other items on the counter surface may be triggering the sensor.
  2. Light may be interfering with sensor. Move the pump to another location with less intense lighting and try again.
  1. Increase the dispensing level using the + button.
  2. Clean any soap residue from the valve.
  3. Avoid using soaps with exfoliants or beads, and increase setting for thicker products.
  4. Press and hold + until soap dispenses. If the valve is sealed, gently flick the rubber tip to allow airflow.
