I like the size of the can and the look. I do not like the sound it makes when it closes. It is loud and sounds like a tin can. I know someone that has the rectangular trash can and it has a slow close that is quiet. I purchased the semi-round and thought it would have the same quiet slow close; far from it.

We have a small house and this fits right up against the wall. It is a great kitchen can because I can put food scraps in it and it seals so well that it doesn't let any odors into the house. Bag changing is so easy and I love that it has a spot in the back that you can secure bags that are a little to large.

Sized right. Step/lid-lift mechanism neds smoothout. Hand-lifting top easy and best way to open. Could use non-skid feet for hardwood or smooth tile floors. All-in-all a truly efficient trash recetacle for a simple human!
