Simple human is a great company whose products are always well designed and manufactured. My trash can is perfect—in particular I was initially worried that it was too big and would smell because we wouldn't fill it up and empty it fast enough. But when the can is closed doesn't let odors seep out. Amazing!

Plastic top great!!! Had a regular trash can with medal top. Over the few years I had it, the top kept corroding from food that was thrown in the trash can. Even the "smell thing attached to the lid, it still smelled awful and lood awful. With the plastic top, it's clean all the time because it's easy to clean so it looks new all the time and no smell. Thanks
