This trash can looks great, and is well-made. I'm a recycling fanatic so I love that I can easily separate recyclables from non-recyclables in my kitchen without having two separate receptacles. The downside is that each side of the trash can is small, so the bags fill quickly and I feel like they're always full. My husband hates the recycler and wishes we still had the big, throw-everything-in can that he had to take out less frequently.

The divided can for regular and recycled trash is convenient for living in a small apartment and with its smaller inner cans, gradually teaches me to cut down on the garbage I create. The recycled bin fills more slowly than the regular trash. The half moon shape of the outer can makes it easy to line up to the wall. The inside plastic cans have notches to secure the bags in place--a boon to clean living. The convenience of two smaller cans in a single receptical, and what that teaches about not producing too much garbage, turns me into a better modern woman.

Perfectly constructed and obviously well thought out, this product has made every step of recycling more efficient! Not only is it's function commendable - but it's a beauty! Guests comment on it all the time - I'm constantly recommending SIMPLE HUMAN to friends! Shouldn't everything be this simple?

I really like my recycler, but wish that there was a bit more room in it. It tends to fill up quickly and would not be good in a home with more than 3 people living in it.

Garbage can is the best! Lift ledge in the back is perfect for moving the can place to place if needed. Plenty of room, dome style lid keeps the top clean inside, little openins on the backside of the inner canisters allow for a perfect fit of a trash bag (not a simplehuman bag), 3 yr-old can open with ease, odors stay perfectly sealed in the container, sinch to clean if necessary.

GREAT DEAL and AWESOME garbage can!
