best trash can ever!
I love simplehuman products! I had ordered 3 different trash cans from simplehuman.com because I couldn't make up my mind. I wanted to see them in person. I ended up keeping ALL 3 *underline & bold*!!! I wish simplehuman would open up stores instead of supplying them at retailers.

Way Above Expectations!
I love this trash can! It is small---just the right size for your bathroom or vanity area. It is beautiful and sleek. I love the lid because it keeps the clean look with the bag hidden underneath. I also love the teeth hole that gathers extra bag. I also appreciate the design of the lid because it actually hides all the trash while still being open to put trash in. Great trash can!! Putting it in all my bathrooms!

Elegant and Slim
Purchased this trash can because I had a *very* thin space at the end of a bathroom cabinet for the trash. This was the perfect solution. It looks great out in the open (not hidden behind some door), and fits in a 7 inch wide space. It is easy to use existing plastic shopping bags for liners, if you choose.

simple and nice
I like simple and clean design, and this trashcan is a perfect complement to my office. The lines are simple yet fairly elegant and the price very reasonable. Please note that this is not a large trashcan and is really more suitable to a desk than a public space

Sleek & Functional
I owned the Grocery Bag Can originally for a couple years and thought it was the best designed can until the Profile can came along. The Profile Open Can improves on it by hiding the messy overhang at the top, which is most visible at all times. However, there are 2 problems with this. First, the plastic inside can is necessary for the invisible bag lip function, but while it would appear that it is simple to slip grocery bags in, functionally it isn't as easy to hide all of the edges with one go. Also, when the top metal lid is slipped on, it poofs some bag edges out as well. The second problem of this can is that it doesn't have any handles for either the lid or the can, making it slightly awkward when changing bags. In this respect, the Grocery Bag Can is much more functional while the Profile can looks sleeker. You gain some, you lose some.
