This is a great product! Lives up to its description. Small enough to be unobtrusive, but large enough to hold two days' worth of trash. Beautiful design and material.

This trashcan arrived with the top pushed in. It had been packed loosely in the same box with two heavy soap jars. Better packing might have helped, but the thin metal of the trashcan contributed to the problem.

This can is very functional when both hands are holding an object, your foot can be used to open the lid. This can is used throughout the day to deposit trash. The size is great for the small space it is stored in. However, a taller one would be better to reduce the risk of the trash not getting into the can. Currently using this can, if there is some messy trash to deposit, bending down closer to the can is advised. I use a plastic or paper bag or newspaper to line the removable rubber insert to assure less cleanup. This can appears to be well made. My 15 month old great nephew continually tested it over a four day period and it is still working as the day it arrived. This can is very stylish and blends in with the other items in my kitchen.

This can is perfect for my apartment lifestyle. It's small and uses old grocery bags so it fills up fast and I can take it out more often...no stinky trash! Plus it looks nice and matches my appliances. I love how it stays clean and fingerprints don't show. It's super sturdy. Only fault I found in the design was the fact that the bag shows when the lid is closed. I would prefer it not show to keep it sleek but definitely able to over look this!!

I particularly like the ability to use plastic grocery bags in this can - great versatility. It fits well in my bathroom and looks great. My only request would be for this can to have the soft close feature like it's larger counterparts. I'm a bit surprised it doesn't, seeing as this is a signature feature of simplehuman cans.
